Google Cloud unveils generative AI use cases for various domestic industries.

Google Cloud announced on the 26th that it has introduced key domestic customer cases where generative artificial intelligence (AI) is being used to innovate industry paradigms. Google Cloud shared on its blog how customers in various industries such as commerce, education, healthcare, travel, and entertainment are using the latest Gemini models and infrastructure to achieve results.

In the commerce sector, AI-based commerce conversion (AX) specialist company Indent Corporation has been highlighted for its use of the Gemini model in its ‘VReview’ and ‘Spray’ services. These services automate customer interactions, elevate review analysis, and campaign management. VReview, utilizing multimodal capabilities, analyzes text and image reviews to provide customer insights and supports brand marketing through AI comment managers and AI keyword recommendation features.

Tae-seok Yoon, CEO of Indent Corporation, stated, “We were able to significantly enhance the AI automation features of VReview with Gemini. We will continue to strengthen our collaboration with Google Cloud under the vision of aiding global expansion for individual brands.”

In the education sector, Mathpresso introduced the Gemini 1.5 Pro and 2.0 Flash models into its AI learning platform ‘QANDA’ to offer real-time personalized learning experiences. The platform recognizes problems using OCR technology, providing solutions and significantly improved response speeds.

Joint CEOs Lee Yong-jae and Lee Jong-heun of Mathpresso declared, “We plan to enhance the personalized learning support offered by QANDA AI services, providing high-quality educational opportunities to global users and expanding cooperation with Google Cloud.”

In healthcare, Kakao Healthcare is expanding its services using Gemini 2.0 in its AI-based blood glucose management app ‘Fasta’ and hospital concierge service ‘CareChat’. They are also building a medical data platform using Google Cloud’s AlloyDB to securely manage hospital data.

Hwang Hee, CEO of Kakao Healthcare, expressed, “Google Cloud’s open model ecosystem offers optimal solutions to a wide range of customers. We aim to enhance the value of the healthcare industry with AI technology.”

In the travel and leisure sector, Yanolja has partnered with Google Cloud, developing personalized travel services based on generative AI. They provide accurate and reliable travel data using AI grounding technology and are working on automating customer communications to improve work efficiency.

Lee Joon-young, CTO of Yanolja Group, said, “We have been building proprietary AI technology based on global travel data and plan to bring innovation to the travel industry through vertical AI services.”

In media and entertainment, NC AI, the AI technology arm of NCSOFT, is developing its proprietary language model ‘VARCO LLM’ based on Google Cloud’s TPU. They are not only optimizing LLM training but also advancing it using open models like Gemini and Gemma.

Yeon-su Lee, CEO of NC AI, commented, “We have been pioneering AI adoption in the domestic gaming industry and will continue to accelerate innovation in the global gaming industry by expanding collaboration with Google Cloud.”
