BROADCASTING AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION (BROADCASTING ADVERTISING) PRODUCTION AND BROADCAST SUPPORT FOR SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS 2ND INVITATIONAL CALL

[이데일리 김현아 기자] The Korea Communications Commission (Chairman Kim Hong-il) announced on the 14th that it will initiate the second round of the ‘2024 Small Business Broadcasting Advertising Production and Broadcasting Support Project’ in collaboration with the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation (vacant CEO position).

This project aims to promote the growth of small businesses and activate broadcasting advertising for regional and small broadcasters. Small businesses selected as beneficiaries can receive support for up to 90% of the production and broadcasting costs, up to a maximum of 9 million won.

Additionally, selected small businesses will receive consulting services on broadcasting advertising planning, production, broadcasting, and overall marketing from experts.

In the upcoming second round, a total of 77 small businesses will be selected, with 56 small businesses located outside the capital region being given priority, while the remaining 21 will be selected based on evaluation scores regardless of location.

This year, a total of 257 small businesses, including the 180 selected in the first round in February and the 77 to be selected this time, will receive support for broadcasting advertising production and broadcasting.

The application period is from June 14 (Fri) to July 2 (Tue) 18:00, and applicants can apply through the Korea Broadcast Advertising Corporation’s ‘Support for Small Business Broadcasting Advertising’ website.

– Support contents: Production cost of broadcasting advertising, local broadcasting media broadcast cost, 1:1 advertising consulting

– Support scale: 77 small businesses

– Support amount: 90% of production/broadcasting cost (up to 9 million won per business) and full consulting cost

– Support method: Selection of production/broadcasting cost within the support limit, 90% payment after production/broadcasting

– Supported media: Broadcasting advertising media in the area where small businesses are located (KBS (restricted to regional broadcasting), regional MBC, regional community broadcasting, radio (regional broadcasting), IPTV, local SO)
