At Nexon office in Pangyo, an event titled “Dotori Picnic Lecture for Early Career Teachers by Seoul Women’s University” was held. On the 19th, Nexon announced that its in-house daycare, “Dotori Picnic Nexon Daycare” (hereinafter referred to as Dotori Picnic), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Seoul Women’s University.
Dotori Picnic has entered a family company partnership through an MOU with Seoul Women’s University. They agreed to cooperate in areas such as exchanging knowledge in early childhood education and academic research, fostering educators, staff training, and participating in industry-academia cooperative projects.
Dotori Picnic will collaborate with Seoul Women’s University in academic exchanges and staff cooperation. They plan to incorporate domestic and international early childhood education theories and the latest play methods into daycare operations. Additionally, they will support career-linked activities targeted at undergraduates in the Department of Child Studies at Seoul Women’s University to broaden research and development in early childhood education and nurture future childcare teachers.
Park Jin-Young, Director of Dotori Picnic Nexon Daycare, stated, “We have established an agreement with the Department of Child Studies at Seoul Women’s University, which has played a leading role in early childhood care through extensive research in child psychology and education. This will provide an opportunity to enhance the professional competence of childcare teachers and exchange new knowledge necessary for the childcare field.”
Kim Hye-Kyung, a professor from the Department of Child Studies at Seoul Women’s University, remarked, “I am pleased to have entered this agreement with Dotori Picnic Nexon Daycare, known as a model case of a corporate daycare in Korea. We will do our best to foster educator training and educational development for young children.”
