The disputed call, made between Yoon and Myung Tae-kyun on May 9, 2022, pertained to the upcoming by-election, shortly before the party’s nomination of Kim Young-sun, but the office claims the conversation was not significant. The Democratic Party contends the recording proves Yoon’s involvement in candidate selection.
