The People Power Party condemns North Korea’s deployment to Russia… “Revealing Kim Jong-un’s anxiety”

On the 21st, Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People Power Party, spoke at the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly. The People Power Party strongly condemned North Korea’s deployment of special forces to Russia.

Han Dong-hoon stated during the meeting, “It’s a very wrong decision, and their intentions seem clear. It appears they are trying to gain some kind of advantage at the end of the war, but it’s a shallow thought.”

He emphasized, “The policies of the Yoon Suk-yeol government are very firm and strict. We will strongly support our government’s policies and put the safety of the people first in all decisions.”

Joo Kyung-ho, the floor leader, remarked, “The series of provocative actions by North Korea reflect the anxious mind of Kim Jong-un’s dictatorial regime.”

He continued, “The People Power Party is pushing for the adoption of a resolution in the National Assembly condemning the barbaric acts of the Kim Jong-un regime such as the recent destruction of railways in the Demilitarized Zone and dispatching troops to Russia. We strongly urge bipartisan participation from opposition parties including the Democratic Party.”

Lee Jong-ho, a supreme council member, expressed his surprise at the news of North Korea deploying over 10,000 troops to the Ukraine war, and urged, “Let’s put aside political strife and work together to discuss and solve these issues.”

Recently, our intelligence agencies secured information indicating that North Korea has sent special forces to Russia. The National Intelligence Service presented three satellite images as evidence in the “Confirmation of North Korean Special Forces’ Participation in the Russia-Ukraine War” report distributed on the 18th.

The National Intelligence Service also disclosed information revealing that two Russian amphibious ships transported North Korean troops from Hamhung and Chongjin to Vladivostok.
