The government and ruling party are discussing the second round of consumer coupons, stating that they will establish criteria to exclude high-asset individuals.

The second round of livelihood recovery consumption coupons is scheduled to be distributed on the 22nd, and today a meeting between the ruling party and the government was held in the National Assembly to discuss the distribution plan and criteria for these consumption coupons. Yoon Kun-young, a representative from the ruling party in the Public Administration and Security Committee, reported that they plan to use household health insurance fees as done during the 2021 national support fund distribution, but will establish a separate cut-off criterion to exclude high-asset individuals. Minister of the Interior and Safety Yun Ho-jung explained that the decision on the distribution policy will be made on the 12th.
