President Yoon had dinner with Han Dong-hoon and other ruling party candidates for the upcoming elections today.

President Yoon Suk-yeol will host a dinner today, inviting the leadership of the People Power Party, including the newly appointed party chairman Han Dong-hoon.

The gathering of the party leaders in one place just a day after the party congress is seen as an effort by the presidential office to emphasize party unity.

Yesterday, President Yoon Suk-yeol emphasized the unified strength of the party at the People Power Party congress.

Today, President Yoon immediately invited the newly appointed party chairman Han Dong-hoon to the Yongsan presidential office for dinner. President Yoon is scheduled to have dinner with Chairman Han.

In addition to the new leadership, including Jang Dong-hyuk, Director of the Supreme Council, and Hwang Woo-yeo, Acting Chairman, the former leadership was also invited.

It is reported that key presidential aides, including Secretary-General Jung Jin-seok, will also attend the dinner at the presidential office.

Prior to this, President Yoon and Chairman Han had a phone conversation immediately after the party congress, where Chairman Han expressed his determination to work together for good politics and party unity.

Regarding the invitation of the newly appointed leadership just a day after the party congress, a presidential office official explained that it is to emphasize party unity.
