People Power Party 40% vs. Democratic Party 43.6%… 53.9% for regime change vs. 40.4% for continuation

There is a survey result indicating that the People Power Party and the Democratic Party are in a close competition within the margin of error.

Realmeter announced that the party support survey results are 40.0% for the People Power Party and 43.6% for the Democratic Party.

Compared to the survey a week ago, the People Power Party rose by 1.0 percentage points, and the Democratic Party fell by 0.7 percentage points. The gap between the two parties, which was 5.3 percentage points last week, narrowed to 3.6 percentage points this week, falling within the margin of error.

The support for other parties is as follows: the Homeland Innovation Party at 4.3% (up by 1.0 percentage points), the Reform Party at 1.3% (down by 0.2 percentage points), the Progressive Party at 0.8% (up by 0.1 percentage points), and other parties at 1.4% (down by 1.0 percentage points). The percentage of undecided voters is 8.6%.

In the survey on preferred ruling power for the next presidential election, 53.9% expressed a preference for a ‘change of government by the opposition,’ and 40.4% preferred a ‘continuation of the ruling party’s government.’ ‘Don’t know’ responses accounted for 5.7%.

Compared to the previous week, the support for a change in government decreased by 1.6 percentage points, while the support for continuation increased by 0.4 percentage points.

Meanwhile, this survey was conducted by Realmeter at the request of Energy Economic News, targeting 1,509 voters aged 18 and older across the country from the 19th to the 21st. The survey was conducted using a 100% wireless automatic response method, with a response rate of 7.6%. The margin of error is ±2.5 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
