North Korea Conducts Test Launch of ‘Final Version’ Mars Po-19… Daughter Ju-ae Accompanies

North Korea announced that the missile launched yesterday was the latest intercontinental ballistic missile, the “Hwasong-19”. They claimed it to be the final version of their intercontinental ballistic missile and declared the test launch a success. Present at the site was Kim Jong Un’s daughter, Kim Ju-ae.

Yoon Nara reports.

North Korea stated that they conducted a test launch of the new Hwasong-19 intercontinental ballistic missile yesterday.

The Rodong Sinmun reported that the test launch of Hwasong-19 was successfully carried out under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Un, marking a significant milestone in permanently establishing the absolute superiority of North Korea’s strategic force.

The Rodong Sinmun noted that the missile launched yesterday reached a maximum altitude of 7,687.5 km and flew 1,001.2 km over 5,156 seconds before landing in the designated target area in the East Sea.

North Korea described the “Hwasong-19” as the final version of its intercontinental ballistic missile and announced plans to deploy it alongside the “Hwasong-18”.

In the photos of the Hwasong-19 released by North Korea, a skirt-shaped flame, typical of solid-fuel ICBMs, was observed, suggesting its operation in conjunction with the existing Hwasong-18 solid ICBM.

Kim Ju-ae, Kim Jong Un’s daughter, accompanied him at the ICBM test launch site yesterday.

Kim Jong Un emphasized that North Korea will never change its course of strengthening its nuclear force under any circumstances.

Earlier, the Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that North Korea had launched one ICBM at a high angle from the vicinity of Pyongyang towards the East Sea at around 7:10 AM yesterday.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff analyzed that, if the missile were launched at a normal angle of between 30 to 45 degrees, its range would exceed 15,000 km, capable of striking the entire continental United States.
