“End the Division, Call for Unity through Reconfirmation”
[Herald Economic News=Jung Seok-jun] Representative Lim Lee-ja of the People Power Party, who serves as the Chairman of the National Assembly’s Planning and Finance Committee, proposed on the 2nd a full-party vote on the reconfirmation of the leadership led by Jang Dong-hyuk, based on the premise of accepting the voting results 100%.
On this day, through Facebook, Rep. Lim stated, “I want to clearly ask those who have been shaking and vetoing the leadership. Can you promise to accept the results of the reconfirmation vote 100% without any complaints or making different statements?” thus making the proposal.
She argued for the reconfirmation vote by saying, “If the Jang Dong-hyuk leadership is reconfirmed, can we promise to stop the vetoing and shaking thus far, lead the party’s unification, and dedicate ourselves to winning local elections centered on Representative Jang Dong-hyuk?”
She continued, “As the Chairman of the Planning and Finance Committee, I won’t just talk,” adding, “I’ll put my position on the reconfirmation vote. I will accept the results and take responsibility with my position.”
Furthermore, she explained, “If someone keeps shaking and vetoing the leadership and then calls for reconfirmation, it’s time to show action instead of just words,” adding, “Let’s unite as one based on the results and move toward local elections.”
Additionally, she said, “It should not be a reconfirmation for shaking the leadership, but a reconfirmation for ending division and moving towards unity,” emphasizing, “I don’t think there’s any reason not to accept my proposal.”
