(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Ryu Mina = People Power Party presidential candidate Kim Moon-soo will campaign in the Gyeonggi and Chungcheong regions on the 16th, the fifth day of the official presidential election campaign.
He plans to visit critical battlegrounds in the metropolitan area, known as the barometer of public sentiment, and cultivate votes in the strategic “Midlands” region.
On the morning of this day, Kim began his schedule by greeting commuters at Seongnam Pangyo Station, Gyeonggi Province.
He then focused his campaign efforts at Suwon Jidong Market and in front of Hwaseong Dongtan Central Park. He is also scheduled to announce a pledge for a “nation connected by GTX (Great Train Express)” in front of Dongtan Station.
In the afternoon, he will campaign intensively in front of the Shinsegae Department Store in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do, in front of Cheongju Town in Cheongju, and in the area around Eunjeong Street in Daejeon.
Before heading to Cheongju, he plans to visit the site for the relocation of the National Assembly in Sejong and announce his administrative capital pledge.
