Han Byung-do: “Jang Dong-hyuk keeps making shocking remarks daily, to the extent that it’s hard to believe he’s the representative of a political party.”

“The Democratic Party criticized Jang Dong-hyuk, the representative of the People Power Party, for continuously making harsh remarks, saying he is ‘making comments unbecoming of a party representative.’

During a policy coordination meeting at the National Assembly today, floor leader Han Byung-do stated, ‘Take a look at Representative Jang’s Facebook. It’s filled with slander, defamation, black propaganda, and slanderous comments.’

Floor leader Han further criticized, ‘Representative Jang is belittling the Democratic Party’s metropolitan council candidates, chosen by the public and party members, as if they were picked by immature supporters. He is focused only on irresponsibly hindering President Lee Jae-myung, who is diligently working towards normalizing Korea.’

He added, ‘Regardless of the upcoming election, there are lines and a minimum level of dignity that a party representative should maintain as a politician. No matter how lacking in ability and qualifications one might be, I hope they at least present a single policy that can serve as a criterion for public choice.’

Kang Joon-hyun, the chief spokesperson of the Democratic Party, also stated in a written briefing, ‘Representative Jang is repeating political offensives through indiscriminate attacks without verifying the facts. If they think they can once again shake the public with false agitation, as they did previously without taking responsibility during a rebellion, they are arrogantly underestimating the people.'”
