Volvo Trucks Korea Hosts ‘Volvo Family Day’ Event Inviting Customers’ Families

In celebration of Family Month, Volvo Trucks Korea held a ‘Volvo Family Day’ event for the families of their customers. This year’s Family Day, conducted in a camping format, took place at Daon Forest Healing Camp in Sejong City, Chungcheongnam-do, over two days from May 3 to 4.

The ‘Volvo Family Day’ is a significant customer event that Volvo Trucks has been organizing annually since 2001. The event invites Volvo Trucks customers and their families from all over the country to enhance communication and rapport. This year, the invitation was extended to include Volvo Construction Equipment customers to increase synergy. As a result, around 160 families of truck and construction equipment customers participated.

On the first day of the event, various activities were held for the families, starting with welcome kits and a reception, followed by recreation, a Dalgona zone, photo missions, and a drawing contest for children featuring trucks and construction equipment. The evening brought everyone together for a barbecue dinner and campfire, enhancing the warm atmosphere with snacks and generous gifts for the children.

Special photo zones capturing the essence of nature were set up throughout the event venue, allowing families to take memorable pictures together. Detailed elements like cup holders and table banners incorporated Volvo’s brand identity, providing a unique experience of the Volvo spirit throughout the event.

On the second day, activities began with a ‘Wake-Up Mission,’ followed by breakfast, an awards ceremony, and finally, a closing session where Volvo Trucks Korea and Volvo Group Korea expressed gratitude to their customers.

Kangseok Park, the CEO of Volvo Trucks Korea, stated, “Meeting and engaging with our customers always holds special significance. Family Day is a precious opportunity to interact warmly with more customers each year. Volvo Trucks Korea will continue to listen to the voice from the field, maintaining customer trust as a reliable transport business partner.”
