**Doosan Seowon Stay on the 26th-27th**
**Busan to Recreate ‘Joseon Tongsinsa’ from the 31st**
Various cultural and tourism programs utilizing UNESCO World Heritage sites are being held nationwide.

Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 22nd that it would hold the Seowon Stay program ‘Like Toegye at Dosan’ for the first time on the 26th-27th at Andong Dosan Seowon. This program, hosted at Dosan Seowon, one of the ‘Korean Seowon’, a World Cultural Heritage site, will include activities such as Seowon tours, readings, and traditional cultural experiences at the Seowon. It will be held five times until September 6th.
Busan City plans to conduct five abbreviated re-creations of the ‘Joseon Tongsinsa’ processions, registered as UNESCO Documentary Heritage, this year. Starting on the 31st and continuing on June 28th, September 27th, October 25th, and November 22nd, the events will take place at 2 PM on the car-free street of Gwangbok-ro in Jung-gu every fourth Saturday of each month. The ‘Joseon Tongsinsa’ were diplomatic delegations sent from Joseon to Japan on twelve occasions from 1607 to 1811 at the request of the Tokugawa Shogunate.
Jeonbuk Gochang-gun will host the ‘Gochang Mudflat Birdwatching Camp’ from the 31st to the 1st of next month at the Gochang Mudflat, a World Natural Heritage site. The birdwatching camp, themed ‘Following the Breath of the Mudflat’, will include migratory bird watching activities and ecological education programs.

Gyeonggi Suwon City will run a nighttime cultural experience program, ‘Suwon Hwaseong Taepyeongseongdae’, at the World Heritage site of Suwon Hwaseong every Friday and Saturday next month, as well as in September and October.
Gyeongnam Gimhae City will operate the ‘World Heritage Daeseongdong Tombs Night Stroll Program’ until October. The program consists of activities such as stargazing at Ae-guji Hill (a meditation tour of the tomb complex), the Daeseong Mystery Tracker, and a music concert at Daeseong-dong Tombs under the sunset.
