Tomorrow, it will rain nationwide… Fine dust levels will be ‘very poor’ until the morning [Weather]

Today was mild, but ultra-fine dust posed a problem. Foreign fine dust will continue to affect air quality until tomorrow morning, especially in the central-western and Honam regions, where the concentration may reach very unhealthy levels.

Tomorrow, there will gradually be heavy rain starting in the western regions at dawn and expanding to most parts of the country by midday. The expected rainfall is around 5-20mm, not much, but there may be thunderstorms, strong winds, and sleet in some areas. In the mountainous areas of Gangwon, Jeonbuk, and Jeju, 1-5cm of snow is expected.

Additionally, strong winds are expected along the West Coast and Jeju. The rain will gradually clear from the western regions in the afternoon.

Morning temperatures in the central regions, including Seoul, will be 8 degrees Celsius, with daytime temperatures dropping by about 7 degrees to reach 10 degrees Celsius. In the southern regions, Gwangju will have a daytime high of 11 degrees, and Daegu will reach 13 degrees, both 4-9 degrees cooler than today.

On Thursday, it will rain across the country again. Subsequently, the morning temperature in Seoul is expected to drop to -1 degrees Celsius.

This was the weather update.
