Today, similar to yesterday, we are experiencing mild weather akin to late March. The daytime temperatures will rise to 12°C in Seoul, 15°C in Gwangju, and up to 18°C in Ulsan. Although the sky was cloudy this morning, it will gradually clear. However, foreign dust particles will cause the fine dust levels in central regions to fluctuate at ‘bad’ levels. The temperatures, which are higher than usual, will continue until Sunday, but the weather will become unsettled during the holiday period due to snow and rain. Starting tomorrow, which is Independence Movement Day, rain will begin to fall nationwide, continuing in some areas with either rain or snow until the alternative holiday next Monday. In particular, heavy snow warnings will be issued on Sunday for Gangwon-do, northeastern Gyeonggi, and the mountainous regions in northeastern Gyeongbuk, leading to significant snowfall. In the case of the Yeongdong region, snow is expected to continue until next Wednesday, with accumulations reaching up to 50 cm. Today, sea waves will be relatively low, ranging from 0.5 to 2 meters across most maritime regions. From Monday, temperatures will drop to average levels, with chilly morning temperatures around 0°C.
