Tropical nights are not coming to an end.
Seoul has been experiencing tropical nights for 24 consecutive days, marking the second longest period of consecutive tropical nights in history.
Jeju Island has been experiencing it for almost a month.
The heatwave will continue today, even on Malbok.
Especially, hot easterly winds crossing the mountain range will significantly raise the temperatures in the western region.
The scorching heat will continue to rise to around 35 degrees Celsius during midday.
Localized heavy showers are expected in various areas.
Particularly, the Seoul metropolitan area, inland regions of Gangwon and South Jeolla Province could experience very strong showers of around 30mm per hour.
Strong winds are pushing towards the East Sea coastal region.

Please be cautious of safety accidents on the coast.
There will be partly cloudy skies across the country today.
Jeju is expected to receive more than 100mm of heavy rain until the day after tomorrow.
The daytime temperatures are expected to be around 35 degrees in Seoul and 33 degrees in Daegu.
There is a forecast of scattered showers tomorrow as well.
