When it rains, the air becomes cooler.
Currently, radar shows scattered rain clouds in the central region. Seoul is experiencing light rain. Throughout the day, eastern areas and Jeju will receive between 5 to 40mm of rain, while Seoul and the metropolitan area will have around 5mm of precipitation. The central region will see the rain stop by tonight, but the southern regions and Jeju will continue to have intermittent rain until tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the southern regions that have not yet been reached by rain clouds are filled with sunlight. For example, in Pohang, the sea is shimmering with the reflection of the sun.
Currently, Jeollanam-do and Gyeongsangnam-do are under a heat wave warning, with temperatures rising to 33 degrees in Hadong and 32 degrees in Suncheon during the day. Seoul will have a high of 27 degrees, about 4 degrees lower than yesterday.
From this afternoon, swell waves will hit the East Coast region. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 27 degrees in Seoul, 30 degrees in Gwangju, and 32 degrees in Daegu.
Tomorrow, Seoul’s daytime temperature will rise to 30 degrees, resulting in a wider temperature difference throughout the day.
