Korea GM R&D Corporation is recruiting ‘STEM interns’ with a hiring connection.

Korea GM’s research and development corporation (GM Technical Center Korea) announced on the 8th that it is recruiting science and engineering interns for a winter internship with potential employment. The interns selected will undergo training at the Incheon Bupyeong headquarters for about two months, with the opportunity to be employed as full-time staff based on selection. Applications are open until midnight on November 10th, and the selected interns will participate in a 10-week training program from January to March 2025.

The internship is open to a total of 110 graduates or prospective graduates (by February 2025) with a bachelor’s degree or higher in science and engineering fields such as mechanical, electrical, electronic, chemical, materials, automotive, or computer engineering.

The positions available include roles like Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) Engineer, Body/Exterior/Chassis/Interior Design Release Engineer (DRE), and Advanced Vehicle Development Engineer, all requiring skills necessary for automotive development. GM Technical Center Korea plans to hire a significant proportion of the interns who complete the internship as regular employees through the recruitment process afterwards.
