KGM, Signing MOU for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Advancement Technology

**KG Mobility (KGM) Partners with Autonomous Driving Technology Companies for Advancing ADAS**

KG Mobility (KGM) has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with specialized autonomous driving technology companies to advance its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This collaboration aims to enhance KGM’s ‘DEEP CONTROL’ system, targeting mass production by 2026.

The MOU ceremony, held at KGM’s Pyeongtaek headquarters, included key figures like Lee Yong-heon, head of KGM’s Future Mobility Center; Hwang Jun-yeon, head of AD System R&D at HL Klemove; Sung Deuk-young, CEO of INAVI Systems; and Park Joong-hee, CEO of RideFlux, among others.

Through this MOU, KGM plans to focus on the development of automatic lane changing, highway merging, and departure control assistance as part of the ‘DEEP CONTROL’ system. This system aims to provide drivers with enhanced convenience and safety by simultaneously controlling acceleration, deceleration, and steering.

KGM anticipates that the advanced ADAS technology will improve driving experience and convenience by offering more active assistance to drivers. The collaboration will leverage HL Klemove’s advanced ADAS integration expertise, INAVI Systems’ ‘INAVI Level 2 Plus Solution’ technology, RideFlux’s software development capabilities, and SOS Lab’s cutting-edge LiDAR technology.

ADAS has become a critical factor in vehicle purchasing decisions globally, increasing the demand for safety and regulatory compliance. HL Klemove specializes in autonomous driving and ADAS solutions based on core component technologies like radar and cameras. INAVI Systems provides an integrated map solution based on autonomous driving protocols, while RideFlux offers full-stack ADAS software development services. SOS Lab develops solid-state LiDAR technology for vehicles, offering improved efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness compared to traditional rotating LiDAR systems.

KGM emphasized the strategic importance of this collaboration in enhancing the ‘DEEP CONTROL’ system and strengthening its position in the future mobility market through ongoing research and system development.
