“The KGM labor union and management agree that a stable labor-management relationship is crucial for protecting valuable workplaces and jobs and increasing sales volume based on consumer trust, and were able to resolve differences in opinion through mutual concessions.”,
“With the conclusion of this negotiation, KGM has completed 16 years of negotiations without dispute since 2010, allowing it to focus all efforts on realizing the company’s mid- and long-term development strategy, based on the exemplary labor-management culture of mutual growth and cooperation.”,
“Meanwhile, KGM started preliminary meetings in June and concluded the 15th negotiation on July 30, reaching a tentative agreement, including a basic salary increase of 75,000 KRW and a total of 3.5 million KRW including a Productivity Incentive (PI). This was finally approved by 64.5% (1,897 members) of the voting union members (2,941 members) on July 31.”
