K Car participates in the ‘Korea Sale FESTA’ with a total discount of 1 billion won.

K Car, the largest direct-managed used car platform in Korea, announced on the 11th that it will participate in the Korean version of Black Friday, the ‘Korea Sale FESTA’, by offering the ‘K Car 1 Billion FESTA’ with benefits totaling 1 billion KRW until the 30th.

The event will feature around 3,000 vehicles through four promotional exhibitions. One of these is the ‘Weekly Special’, where up to 3 million KRW discounts will be offered on about 800 vehicles every Tuesday. Additionally, the ‘Home Service Time Deal’ will provide free delivery for newly registered vehicles, expecting to sell approximately 1,300 units.

K Car is also showcasing the K Car Warranty (KW), an industry-first extended quality assurance service. The KW6 event offers 180 days of free warranty and up to 10 million KRW in repair benefits for about 700 vehicles, while the KW3 event provides 90 days of free warranty and up to 5 million KRW in repair benefits for around 200 vehicles.

Jung In-kook, CEO of K Car, stated, “We have prepared various benefits to enable more reasonable used car purchases during the Korea Sale FESTA, aimed at boosting domestic consumption. K Car will continue to conduct various promotions that meet consumer expectations.”

K Car, listed on the KOSPI market in October 2021, is Korea’s largest direct-managed used car platform with a history spanning 24 years. It operates a direct system by purchasing and selling vehicles, with the largest scale nationwide, comprising a network of 47 branches (as of November 2024). It introduced the e-commerce service ‘Home Service for Buying My Car’ in 2016, and it has grown annually, accounting for more than half of its total retail sales. This service holds about 81% market share in the domestic used car e-commerce sector (2022, source: Frost & Sullivan), establishing itself as a leader in the automotive e-commerce domain. As a result of continuous innovation in the used car market, it has won the ‘2024 Korea First Brand Award’ in the used car distribution category for five consecutive years.
