Hyundai Motor Company and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art to hold a public project exhibition starting on the 15th.

Hyundai Motor Company and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) revealed the results of their open call program, “Project Hashtag,” on the 14th.

This open creative platform allows cultural and artistic creators to participate without limitations on genre or subject. The results will be exhibited at MMCA Seoul from the 15th until April next year. This year, out of 148 participating teams, “Sowang Office” and “Playing Art Method” were the final selections, both of which utilized the medium of games to offer new perspectives and discussions on modern society.

“Sowang Office” allows viewers to input their wishes, which are then processed through an AI classification system and delivered into a metaverse world called Sowang World, where the virtual world either persists or vanishes. “Playing Art Method” involves viewers walking through different exhibition zones, playing games, and experiencing videos and exhibition guides interpreted from multiple angles.

During the exhibition, several associated programs, including talks with the artists, live game streaming services, and expert docent tours, are scheduled. Additionally, a special program inviting past exhibition participants will be held early next year.
