The third round requires them to present a program of 45–55 minutes, including a Sonata and Polish traditional dance pieces like the Mazurka. Afterwards, about 10 players will earn a ticket to the final round. Pianist Kim Joo-young, author of , explained, “While the 1st and 2nd rounds focused on technical skills, the 3rd round is about the musical quality itself.” Attention is focused on the performances of younger brother Lee Hyo, who showed his presence with unique interpretations, and elder brother Lee Hyuk, who is presenting a more mature appearance as someone who reached the finals in 2021.’,
