Hana Tour Makes Strategic Investment in ‘PPT Tour’, a Car-Themed Travel Company.

Hanatour announced on the 16th that it has made a strategic investment in the automobile-themed travel company “PPT Tour,” acquiring a 16% stake and becoming the second-largest shareholder. PPT Tour is a specialized company that plans and operates premium automobile and motorsport-themed travel products, leveraging experiences from global luxury car brand driving programs and F1 Grand Prix events.

With this investment, Hanatour is set to fully enter the luxury automobile-themed travel market. They plan to expand their business areas by reflecting the trend of prioritizing premium experiences and to further strengthen their premium product portfolio.

Hanatour will broaden its premium travel offerings with automobile themes. Focusing on Zeusworld, its high-end travel brand set to be revamped, Hanatour will introduce PPT Tour’s flagship products and launch various joint-planned products. They also aim to develop exclusive products featuring luxury driving tours and F1 tickets, while enhancing the competitiveness of standalone products like admission tickets and local tours.

As their first jointly planned product, the two companies have launched a “Singapore Grand Prix Tour 4 Days,” set to depart in October. The premium itinerary includes viewing the Singapore Grand Prix, known as F1’s only night city race, along with Michelin-starred dinners and accommodations at luxury hotels. It also features a river cruise ticket to enjoy Singapore’s night views and includes key sightseeing itineraries.

A Hanatour representative stated, “With the growing interest and demand for F1 Grands Prix and luxury driving tours, the potential for growth in the luxury travel market themed around automobiles is increasing. Through this investment, we will strengthen our competitiveness in the premium themed travel market and continue to expand our differentiated high-value-added products.”
