Couple customers are expected to seek special places like hotels to celebrate this day, and preparations to welcome guests are in full swing.

According to industry sources on the 10th, hotels nationwide are offering packages for couples and families ahead of Valentine’s Day on the 14th. Paradise Hotel Busan is running a ‘Romantic Valentine’ package until the 28th, allowing guests to spend intimate time in luxurious rooms. Depending on the room type, special Valentine’s Day privileges are provided.

Particularly for suite rooms, an in-room flower decoration service by the hotel’s florist is available, while deluxe rooms are prepared with fresh flower bouquets in advance. Additionally, ‘Birthstone Chocolates,’ a welcome bottle of wine, and a cheese platter are offered. To mark Valentine’s Day, the hotel also introduces related desserts and meal products.

Hanwha Hotel & Resort’s The Plaza introduced limited edition cakes, chocolates, and a flower heart box in anticipation of Valentine’s Day. This Valentine’s Day, the ‘Ruby Love’ cake, with layers of raspberry and rose puree on a heart-shaped brownie sheet offering a chewy and moist texture, is available for 68,000 won. The ‘Love Pocket,’ a new chocolate ball creation wrapped in heart-shaped chocolate, comes in raspberry and white chocolate flavors, with 4 different individual chocolate flavors (strawberry, coconut, mango, blueberry) inside, priced at 35,000 won.

According to The Plaza, sales of Valentine’s cakes increased by 63.6% from the previous year. A representative said, “Given the inquiries about Valentine’s Day cakes from January, we have dedicated significant effort to quality to meet expectations,” adding that a 10% discount is available for cake orders via Naver reservation.

Four Seasons Hotel Seoul will offer a ‘San Valentino Dinner Course’ on February 14th and 15th at its Italian restaurant Boccalino for loving couples. Head Chef Ivan Spadaro curates the finest ingredients and fresh seafood to blend traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist for a romantic dining experience. The Valentine’s Day dinner course, consisting of three welcome foods leading into a six-course meal, is priced at 220,000 won per person.

Seoul Dragon City operates the ‘Suite Couple’ package at four hotels—Grand Mercure, Novotel Suites, Novotel, and Ibis Styles—targeting couples for Valentine’s and White Day celebrations. Available until the end of March, the package includes a one-night stay, cake, and Moet & Chandon champagne, set up in the room before check-in to create a romantic atmosphere.

Walkerhill Hotel & Resort offers the Berry In Love package until March 31. Tied to the ‘Lovely Strawberry’ promotion at the Walkerhill lobby lounge, The Pavilion, the package includes a one-night stay in a Vista Deluxe Room alongside a fresh strawberry and soft cream plate paired with a bottle of rosé sparkling wine (Fleur De Prairie), ensuring a sweet refuge. Available from 11 am to 8 pm, the package also provides hotel restaurant discounts and reward points. Prices start at 269,000 won for two, excluding tax and service charges.

The Pavilion runs the ‘Lovely Strawberry’ promotion until April 30, showcasing various desserts and drinks using Chungnam Nonsan Seolhyang strawberries. The Strawberry Tea Set, the signature menu, consists of over ten desserts highlighting the freshness and sweetness of strawberries, complemented by a variety of strawberry-themed menu options like bingsu and beverages, perfect for savoring the flavors of winter strawberries.
