On Tuesday the 17th, showers are expected in some inland areas nationwide amid hot and humid conditions.
Showers are forecasted from morning to evening in inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, inland areas of Chungcheong, inland areas of Jeolla, Gyeongbuk, and western inland areas of Gyeongnam. The expected precipitation is 5–40mm in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, 5–30mm in inland Jeonbuk, Gwangju and Jeonnam, and western inland Gyeongnam, and 5–10mm in inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon, southern inland areas of Daejeon and Chungnam, and Chungbuk.
The morning low temperatures will range from 8 to 22 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high temperatures will be 25 to 32 degrees Celsius, which is similar to or slightly higher than usual. For the time being, warm weather is expected, with daytime temperatures rising to around 30 degrees Celsius. The air quality index will range from ‘good’ to ‘moderate’ nationwide due to the influence of precipitation.
Dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters is expected in parts of the Incheon, northern coastal Gyeonggi, and northern coastal Chungnam areas. From early morning to afternoon, strong winds are expected in mountainous areas of Gangwon and northeastern Gyeongbuk, at speeds of around 15 m/s (up to 20 m/s in mountainous areas).
The sea waves are expected to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters high in the East and South Seas and 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea.
