Specialized Art Organizations in Daegu and Gyeongbuk… Applications Open from November 9 to 13
The Dalseo Family Culture Center is inviting art organizations to participate in the “Our Neighborhood Family Performance” for the upcoming year. Applications are open until Friday, November 13.
From March to December, the center has been hosting family-themed or family-friendly performances every third or fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:30 PM in their 4th-floor small theater. This year, they rebranded the event to “Our Neighborhood Family Performance,” featuring diverse performances such as hip-hop, Korean traditional music, and puppet shows by locally selected art organizations, receiving positive responses from audiences.
Through this call for entries, the center aims to secure family-centered unique content to enhance its identity and differentiate itself with a variety of programs in classical music, Korean traditional music, dance, theater, and more. Eligibility is limited to performance art organizations based in Daegu or Gyeongbuk, registered as professional art organizations, to contribute to the revitalization of local culture.
Applications will be received via email at dalseofamily@naver.com from November 9 (Monday) to 13 (Friday). Required documents include an application form, performance plan, consent form for personal data collection and usage, and professional art organization registration certificate. Following document review, the final announcement will be made on November 18 (Wednesday). Each organization can perform once, and performance fees within the budget will be paid, while sound and lighting equipment will be provided by the center. For inquiries, call 053-632-3800~2.
