[KBS Daejeon] The scorching heat continues.
Our region is still under a heat wave warning for the 24th consecutive day, with temperatures reaching around 35 degrees Celsius in many places today.
The heat will not dissipate even tonight, with tropical nights expected, and temperatures are forecasted to rise to around 35 degrees Celsius tomorrow afternoon.
Tomorrow, the sky will occasionally be mostly cloudy. In the afternoon to evening, there will be sporadic heavy showers in some areas. It is advisable to carry a small umbrella in case of sudden showers.
Tomorrow morning, Sejong and Gongju will start at 25 degrees Celsius. During the day, Daejeon will reach 35 degrees and Nonsan will climb to 36 degrees.
In the northern part of Chungcheongnam-do, the morning temperatures in Cheonan will be 24 degrees, Taean 26 degrees, and during the day, Asan will reach 35 degrees.
In the southern part of Chungcheongnam-do, the morning temperatures in Boryeong and Seocheon will start at 26 degrees. The daytime temperature in Buyeo will rise to 35 degrees.
In the central part of the West Sea, waves will reach up to 1.5 meters, and dense fog will occur in some sea areas.
Typically, the heat starts to break around mid-August, but this year, the hot weather is expected to persist until the end of this month.
