Calling all performing arts fans… The ‘Seoul Art Goods Festival’ debuts this year.

The Sejong Center for the Performing Arts is organizing the first art goods market in the performing arts sector on November 13th to 14th around Gwanghwamun, Seoul. The event will include free lectures and performances. The aim is to provide diverse experiences by organically combining performances, lectures, and a goods market against the backdrop of Gwanghwamun, an iconic cultural space.

According to the Sejong Center on August 28, the ‘Seoul Art Goods Festival 2025’ will be held for the first time this year and will feature more than 50 institutions and brands including performance planning companies, performing arts groups, theaters, film companies, exhibition organizers, publishers, and independent art bookstores. The market will showcase limited edition and original goods related to performances, exhibitions, and films, with all on-site transactions managed via Kakao Pay.

Several domestic musical production companies will participate, presenting goods from major repertoires such as ‘Phantom,’ ‘Rent,’ and ‘The Last Empress.’ Official goods from national art organizations like the National Symphony Orchestra and National Ballet are also available. Additionally, film studios and distributors will present Studio Ghibli merchandise, Harry Potter MD, and more. Specialized brands like Seoul Sticker Shop and Bread Named Studio will offer distinctive items with stylish design stationery and ceramic objects.

During the festival, creators active both domestically and internationally will deliver lectures and performances on stage. Participants include writer Park Cheon-hyo, who led the musical ‘Maybe Happy Ending’ to win six Tony Awards as the first in Korea, dancer Ki Mu-gan, and Shin Dong-won, CEO of S&Co, known for producing mega-hit musicals like ‘Aladdin’ and ‘Wicked.’ Additionally, there will be performances from singer-songwriter Yebit and the Jeonggigo Quintet.
