BMW Korea announced on the 11th that over 2,500 customers have participated in their electric vehicle (EV) test drive membership program, “BMW BEV Membership,” within six months of its launch. As the first of its kind in the domestic automotive industry, BMW Korea introduced this membership program, deploying a total of 230 BMW EVs to provide various experiences with BMW electric vehicles.
Since May of this year, BMW Korea has been operating this membership for new car buyers, offering test drives for four representative electric vehicle models: the BMW i5, i4, iX1, and iX2. From the launch in May to October, a total of 2,518 people have utilized the BMW BEV membership program.
Customer satisfaction achieved a score of 4.58 out of 5. According to a survey conducted by BMW Korea among the program participants, 84% of the 2,084 respondents indicated that their perception of electric vehicles became more positive after the test drive. BMW Korea stated that the BMW BEV membership significantly contributes to enhancing understanding and trust in electric vehicles beyond mere test-driving experiences.
