(Seoul=News1) Reporter Park Gi-beom: BMW Korea Future Foundation announced on the 30th that it held the ‘2025 Second Half Branch School Invitation Day’ for elementary school students in the Yeongnam region from September 16 to 26.
This event was an educational program utilizing the ‘Mobile Junior Campus’, designed for students at small schools with fewer than 40 students or where a 11.5-ton truck could not enter.
Starting with Ibang Elementary School in Changnyeong, Gyeongnam, the event took place at 13 schools including Goryeong, Seongju, and Cheongsong in Gyeongbuk, as well as Gunwi in Daegu. A total of 259 students participated. Through the Mobile Junior Campus vehicle, students learned about seven automotive science principles, including those of electric cars, hydrogen cars, and autonomous driving. They also enhanced their scientific thinking and environmental awareness by creating eco-friendly car models.
Since 2018, BMW Korea Future Foundation has been operating the Branch School Invitation Day, providing free education to 3,200 children so far, and plans to continue expanding science and environmental experience opportunities.
