**Blooming Universe: Big Flower’ Experience Space Opens
A Journey to Experience the Beauty of Flowers, Beyond Just Viewing**
(Seoul = News1) Yoon Seul-bin, a tourism specialist reporter, reports that Lotte World announced on the 22nd the opening of a flower-themed experience space, ‘Blooming Universe: Big Flower,’ at Seoul Sky, the highest observatory in Korea.
With the concept of ‘the mystical journey of flowers reaching towards the sky,’ Blooming Universe will be open until August 31st and is available to all visitors to Seoul Sky.
Firstly, the main entrance of Seoul Sky, where visitors first enter, is designed with the concept of ‘Flower Rain.’ Featuring a media column that simulates glowing flowers falling, it guides visitors along with flowers and butterflies into the ‘Blooming Universe.’
Passing through the main entrance and moving towards the permanent exhibition zone, the ‘Fantasy Blooms’ unfolds. Vibrant flowers bloom against a dark background through video displays.
Upon reaching the 117th floor via the endeavor ‘Sky Shuttle,’ visitors encounter ‘Flower SKY,’ an enchanting wave of flowers and butterflies along the viewing route.
Starting with ‘Flower SKY,’ all floral displays from the 117th floor onward are enhanced with scents, creating a vivid exhibition environment as if stepping into a real flower field. Partial lighting in the stamens of large flowers provides a lively feel even at night.
The escalator connecting the main viewing floors, 117th and 120th, is themed ‘Blooming Road,’ extending the journey towards the sky amidst full-bloomed flowers.
The Sky Deck on the 118th floor, known for its thrilling transparent glass floor, unfolds the world of flowers under the theme ‘Universe Flower.’ Radiant, large pink flowers bloom and flutter against the open window backdrop, adding a kinetic display that gives the appearance of moving flowers, creating a mystical and lively atmosphere.
On the 121st floor, also the final viewing floor of Seoul Sky, stands a majestic ‘Big Flower’ with a diameter of 5.3 meters, marking the climax of ‘Blooming Universe.’ This symbolizes the culmination of the flowers’ journey, which started from the ground, into a ‘grand bloom,’ offering a unique and mystical photo zone in Korea. At night, the lighting in the stamen’s center produces a fantastical atmosphere distinct from daytime.
Kim Ki-hoon, head of Lotte World’s operations division said, “Inspired by Seoul Sky’s symbolic connection between the sky and the ground, the display is designed to naturally guide visitors on a glorious floral journey from the main entrance to the highest point in the sky,” and “We expect to provide an unusual experience that goes beyond mere observation, allowing direct participation and experience in the journey.”
