The modest date of actors Won Bin and Lee Na-young was witnessed and shared publicly. On September 1, a video titled “Ryu Jin’s Jamsil apartment, which became 4 billion in 40 years” was posted on the YouTube channel “Most (Awesome) Ryu Jin.”
Ryu Jin and his mother visited an apartment in Jamsil, which is scheduled for redevelopment. They had lived there 40 years ago before moving. Ryu Jin recounted, “I was talking on the phone with my mother, and she mentioned that she sometimes visits Jamsil. She recently visited and said she wanted to visit with me.”
The pair went to eat pork ribs, a dish they occasionally had for eating out. “Back in the day, eating out meant either jajangmyeon or pork ribs. On days like that, my parents would let us eat to our heart’s content,” Ryu Jin shared. He also recalled that their mother’s gatherings included top students who all went on to prestigious universities like Seoul National University.
Ryu Jin humorously inquired whether any other celebrities had visited the restaurant, to which the owner replied, “Won Bin and Lee Na-young have been here,” also naming the singer Kang Jin. This prompted laughter from the crew, joking about how all actors with single-character names had visited.
Actors Won Bin and Lee Na-young married in 2015 and have a son. Won Bin’s last film was “The Man from Nowhere” in 2010, and his rare appearances garner much attention. Famous entertainer Yoo Jae-suk has never seen Won Bin in person despite over 30 years in the industry.
In April, Kim Young-chul relayed another sighting of the couple, sharing that he unexpectedly saw them while heading to Paris. “Even as a celebrity myself, I stopped to confirm it was them because they were such a strikingly handsome and beautiful couple,” he said.
In other news, actress Lee Na-young has been cast in Genie TV’s original drama “Honor,” which centers around three female lawyers confronting the scandals of their past. The series is set to be released in the first half of 2026.
