According to News1’s coverage on the 12th, an area of 196.21 square meters on the 13th floor of the Hyundai 1st complex in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul was traded for 8.9 billion won last April. The ownership registration has been completed, and the buyer is identified as Mr. Shim Changmin.

As there is no separate mortgage right confirmed, it is estimated that Mr. Shim made the full payment in cash. In particular, it was revealed that the property was once owned by former Chairman Kwon Hong-sa of Bandogyeon Construction.

Apgujeong Hyundai Apartment is considered a top-class residential area. It has been reported that it is owned or being held by corporate executives, high-ranking government officials, and famous celebrities.

Previously, Mr. Shim entered into a lease contract for a 159.603 square meter unit on the 21st floor of Acro Seoul Forest in Seongsu-dong 1-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul last year. In this case, the lease right is set with a duration until May of next year, and the lease deposit is 5.5 billion won.

Acro Seoul Forest is a top-class mixed-use complex consisting of residential, office, and sales facilities. The residential complex has a total of 280 units ranging from 91 to 273 square meters, from basement 5 floors to a maximum of 49 floors.

This residential complex gained attention when actress Jun Ji-hyun purchased a unit, and it has been reported that actor Son Ji-chang, Oh Yeon-soo, married couple Joo Sang-wook and Cha Ye-ryun, Lee Jae-hoon, and SHINee’s Taemin are living there.
