According to the legal community on the 4th, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office’s Criminal Division 7 (Chief Prosecutor Kwon Seong-hee) charged Kim on the 20th of last month for violations related to aggravated punishment of certain crimes (dangerous driving causing injury), among other charges. The case has been assigned to Judge Jang Seong-jin of the Seoul Central District Court’s Criminal Division 21, and the first hearing date has not yet been set.
Previously, on September 15 last year, Kim was accused of driving under the influence around 5 a.m. in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and hitting a pedestrian, causing injuries. It is reported that the pedestrian sustained bruises.
