The YouTuber NojamBot, who has 400,000 subscribers and is known for resembling Cha Eun-woo, shared an update: “This face won’t last long… I’ve also had to move from one temporary job to another.”

[Sports Chosun Reporter Cho Min-jung] Popular YouTuber Nojambot (29, real name Jo Chan-hee), who gained attention for his resemblance to Cha Eun-woo, shared an update that left fans feeling sympathetic.

He had garnered 400,000 subscribers and sparked a “study vlog” trend but has been inactive since 2023. Recently revealing himself through the YouTube channel “Life is Enjoyable,” Nojambot candidly discussed his peak earnings and current situation.

Nojambot admitted, “I took on day labor jobs when I needed money,” and reflected on being young, having failed in studies, and contemplating the future. He recounted turning to YouTube after failing a police officer exam, saying, “The earnings from YouTube were so significant that I set aside my dream of becoming a police officer. There are parts I regret now.”

Once dubbed a “face genius,” he was honest about his looks and popularity. “I didn’t think I gained popularity because I was handsome,” he said. “This face might not last long, and compared to other celebrities, I don’t have much competitive edge.”

He also expressed being affected by negative comments, adding, “I was called a dwarf for being 165 cm and criticized for failing the police exam once. I didn’t cry, but I did feel like crying inside.”

On why he stopped activities, he explained, “I’m taking a break because I’m not proud of myself at the moment. I might appear again if things work out, but I don’t know right now. Life isn’t enjoyable currently, and I need to find change.”

The video had reached 850,000 views as of the 19th, gaining popularity. Netizens responded to his long-awaited update with comments like “Now that Cha Eun-woo is in the military, this is your chance,” “His mindset is amazing,” “He seems too honest,” and “He’s unnecessarily humble.”
