The ‘national actor’ Ahn Sung-ki has passed away at the age of 74… Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung will carry the coffin.

Actor Ahn Sung-ki, known as the “national actor,” passed away at the age of 74. He made his debut at the age of six with the film “Twilight Train” in 1957 and starred in more than 180 films over his 60-year career, becoming a star in the Korean film industry. A memorial has been set up at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, with actors Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung acting as pallbearers. Ahn Sung-ki passed away in the early morning of January 5th in the ICU at Soonchunhyang University Hospital in Yongsan District, Seoul, surrounded by his family.
