The late Jeong Myung-hyun was reported to have died on December 9, 2011. His death was only known after some time had passed, and the exact cause of death has not been disclosed. After the sad news was eventually revealed, it was known that he had emigrated abroad, and he is currently enshrined at the Sky Castle Memorial Park in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province.
The late Jeong Myung-hyun gained attention for his role as Byung-tae in the MBC drama ‘One Roof Three Families’. He especially became known for his appearance in the fake commercial for ‘Jangdak Chicken’ on the ‘Hidden Camera’ segment of ‘Sunday Night’ in 1992, earning him the nickname ‘Jangdak’.
Jeong Myung-hyun was active in dramas such as ‘Warm Southern Land’, ‘Play with Your Peers’, ‘Joseon White Porcelain Maria’, ‘Dangi Boy’, ‘The Last Search Party’, ‘Jealousy’, ‘People of Dr. Oh’s House’, ‘Mr. Q’, and variety shows like ‘Thunder Fire in the Plum Room’, ‘The Silver Horse Does Not Come’, ‘Sky Warrior Eagleman’, ‘Blood Revenge Battle’, and ‘Jangdak High School Delinquents’.
