[Sports Chosun Reporter Kim So-hee] The bereaved family of the late Kim Sae-ron will hold a press conference today (7th).
On the 6th, the YouTube channel ‘Garosero Research Institute’ (hereafter referred to as ‘Gaseyeon’) announced, “A press conference titled ‘Kim Soo-hyun’s serious crime’ will be held at 2 PM on the 7th.”
They continued, “The press conference will be hosted by Seo Yi Kim, the representative of Garosero Research Institute, and Byun Ji-seok, the representative lawyer of Booyoo Law Firm.” Lawyer Byun Ji-seok is the legal representative for the bereaved family of the late Kim Sae-ron.
Additionally, they stressed, “If your identity cannot be confirmed, you will not be allowed to enter. This is because you will understand the reasons when you hear the content of our press conference,” emphasizing, “This issue is extremely serious.”
Previously, the bereaved family of Kim Sae-ron claimed that the actor Kim Soo-hyun dated the late Kim Sae-ron from November 19, 2015, to July 7, 2021, while she was still a minor. They also alleged that after leaving her agency, the actor sent a content-certified letter to repay a debt of 700 million KRW, causing psychological pressure. They have been demanding a sincere apology from Kim Soo-hyun.
On March 27, they held a press conference where they disclosed KakaoTalk messages exchanged between the deceased and Kim Soo-hyun during her minor years and presented evidence of the hardship faced due to the pressure to repay the 700 million KRW after their breakup.
Subsequently, in a press conference held in March, Kim Soo-hyun stated that he dated the late Kim Sae-ron for a year starting from around 2019 when she was an adult. He firmly denied having dated her when she was a minor. He also raised suspicions about the manipulation of the reconstruction of the KakaoTalk conversation released by Kim Sae-ron’s family and even disclosed an appraisal report. Kim Soo-hyun then filed a criminal complaint for defamation against the deceased’s family and the YouTube channel Gaseyeon, and also sued for damages worth approximately 12 billion KRW.
