“Superstar K2” Park Bo-ram Passes Away During a Gathering with Acquaintances… Today (11th) Marks the First Anniversary

Park Bo-ram passed away on April 11, 2024, due to acute alcohol poisoning at the age of 30.

On April 11, 2024, around 10 PM, Park Bo-ram was found collapsed at a friend’s house in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province. She was discovered unconscious in the bathroom during a gathering with acquaintances, and though she was taken to the hospital, she did not survive.

To determine the exact cause of death, the police, with the consent of the bereaved family, requested an autopsy. The autopsy revealed no signs of homicide or extreme choices.

Subsequently, the National Forensic Service’s final autopsy results indicated that acute alcohol poisoning was the presumed cause of death.

Park Bo-ram, born in 1994, gained fame by appearing on Mnet’s audition program ‘Superstar K2’ in 2010. She debuted in 2014 with ‘Beautiful’ and continued her career with songs like ‘Pretty Person’ and ‘Wanna Date.’
