KBS has reportedly not yet made a decision on whether to hold a broadcast appearance review committee for Sugar of BTS, who was booked for drunk driving on an electric scooter.

On the 16th, KBS stated to Ilgan Sports, “The decision on whether to hold a broadcast appearance review committee for Suga is undecided.”

KBS independently regulates appearances of individuals who have violated laws or caused social controversies through its broadcast appearance regulation review committee. Specifically, the committee convenes for cases including ‘booking, arrest, deferred prosecution or heavier sentencing,’ ‘evading military service,’ ‘habitual use of prescription drugs and marijuana smoking,’ ‘fraud, theft, gambling,’ ‘assault and sexual assault,’ ‘disruption of public morals and social order,’ among others.
