[Sports Chosun.com Reporter Lee Woo-joo] Actress Oh Yeon-soo has returned to the US for her sons who are studying abroad.

On the 18th, a video titled “Moving back to the US (?) Homebody here too” was posted on her YouTube channel.

Oh Yeon-soo headed to the US with a load of luggage. It was to furnish her second son’s place after he resumed his studies following military service. Oh Yeon-soo mentioned, “The house is small, so there’s not much to do,” and spoke about bringing kitchen supplies from home due to high exchange rates. She also borrowed and received household items from friends and began organizing the house.

Oh Yeon-soo expressed, “In this era of high exchange rates, having two children attending college in the US. I can’t ask them to stop attending school because of high rates. Since they are in different areas, we have two homes in the US. Fortunately, the eldest will graduate in April, but the second son has just started after his discharge.”

After helping set up her son’s place, Oh Yeon-soo fell ill for a week, saying, “I barely survived.” She added, “I realized once again through this illness that I really shouldn’t get sick. I’m not naturally strong, so I’ve been trying hard not to get sick.”

Once she recovered, Oh Yeon-soo went to stores to buy necessary items for her son.

Meanwhile, Oh Yeon-soo is married to actor Sohn Ji-chang, and they have two sons. In 2014, she moved to the US to support her sons’ studies and ended up staying for seven years. Through her YouTube channel, she shared that although she initially planned for two years, the stay was much longer, noting that she felt it was important to be with her children during their studies. She added that if she had been worried about interrupting her acting career, she wouldn’t have been able to go. Now, her children appreciate the time spent together, considering it very precious.
