Seoul Immigration Office responds to NewJeans’ Hanni’s “illegal stay” report: “Action to be taken once agency matters are sorted”

[TV Daily Reporter Kim Ji-hyun] The National Sinmungo has responded that they plan to “take action” regarding a report about NewJeans’ Hanni’s illegal stay.

The Investigation Division of the Seoul Immigration Office under the Ministry of Justice stated on the 10th that regarding the complaint about Hanni’s illegal stay, “We plan to take the necessary action once the employment relationship between the parties involved is resolved.”

Hanni, who is an Australian-Vietnamese dual national, needs an “E-6 visa” extension to continue staying in Korea. Currently, foreign entertainers in Korea are operating under this visa.
