Sports Chosun reporter Jo Yoon-sun reported on the love story of Kwang-soo and Jung-hee from the 28th season. In the video, Kwang-soo introduced Jung-hee, saying, “Our first baby has come into our lives anew. Let me introduce my girlfriend and baby.” Jung-hee responded with a shy smile, saying, “He calls me baby.”
When the production team asked when they started dating, Jung-hee replied, “Immediately, really. To me, making the final choice meant dating. I naturally assumed we were dating. Was it not?” Kwang-soo proudly stated, “She’s very proactive. With us, actions come before words.”
The couple reminisced about the filming as they watched their 28th season of ‘I’m Solo.’ Jung-hee had previously confessed during the introduction time, “There’s one thing I can’t give up, and that’s not being able to have children. If someone wants kids and I can’t provide them, it might be tough.”
Jung-hee later explained, “It was briefly shown in an unreleased part because I had severe morning sickness.” To this, Kwang-soo said, “But love doesn’t work that way. Wanting kids isn’t something you choose at will. It’s not like it can be controlled, just like our ‘Nasol-i’ (the name for the expected child of the couple Jeong-sook and Sang-cheol),” and Jung-hee agreed.
Meanwhile, Kwang-soo and Jung-hee admitted they had broken up once before. Kwang-soo shared, “I was really hurt then,” and Jung-hee apologized, saying, “I’m sorry.”
Kwang-soo further revealed, “I really chose a strong woman. I was shocked. During that time, Young-chul comforted me a lot. I missed her intensely. It had been so long since I felt such burning emotions and rational feelings, and I wasn’t lonely, but I felt so lonely and struggled. Then out of the blue, Jung-hee broke up with me only to call me back again.”
Jung-hee recounted, “We were apart for about four weeks. After the first episode aired, I found myself watching only his parts all day. I realized this isn’t right, so I contacted him and we reunited, and our relationship became much stronger, like the ground firming up after rain.”
Jung-hee also mentioned that they spend time with each other’s children, saying, “The four of us play together. Kwang-soo’s child is a senior in high school, and he’s really kind. My child is eight, and he looks after him like a little brother, and my child really likes him too.”
