‘Actor Yoo Ah-in (real name Um Hong-sik) was sentenced to 1 year in prison and fined 2 million won on charges of habitual drug use. The Seoul Central District Court’s Criminal Conciliation 25th Division (Presiding Judge Ji Gwi-yeon) handed down this sentence to Yoo Ah-in, who was charged with violations of the Narcotics Control Act (habitual drug use), marijuana smoking and distribution, and destruction of evidence. Accomplice Mr. Choi was sentenced to 8 months in prison with a 2-year probation.
