[Exclusive] Yang Jae-woong, who is a doctor and a broadcaster, will be stepping down from his MBC radio show ‘Starry Night’ after 4 years, amid a continuous stream of malicious comments about his marriage with Hani and the recent death of a patient.
It was revealed that a woman in her 30s, identified as A, who was hospitalized under the care of Yang Jae-woong in a hospital in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, passed away on May 27th due to medical negligence after 17 days of hospitalization for treatment of drug intoxication. The cause of death is suspected to be iatrogenic intestinal obstruction.
In response to this incident, the family of the deceased has filed a complaint against Yang Jae-woong and six other medical staff members with the police.
