The seventh host is Park Bo-gum. Although he previously served as an MC for ‘Music Bank’, this is his first time as a main host for a dedicated music program. On the 19th, A, who participated as a space designer in the Netflix series ‘You Have Been Deceived’, shared some behind-the-scenes stories on their YouTube channel.
While making a miniature of Yang Kwan-sik (played by Park Bo-gum) from the series, A said, “Seeing Kwan-sik reminds me of a story that only the art team knows. During filming, I was so busy that I accidentally left my iPad in a jar next to Kwan-sik.”
A continued, “Even though the director gave the okay sign, Kwan-sik saw the iPad and went to the director to say that his acting seemed a bit awkward and asked if he could check the monitor again. He was covering for my mistake by making it seem like it was his own.”
A added, “Then he handed the iPad back to me, saying, ‘No one noticed, don’t worry,’ and winked. The three members of the art team standing in front are still smitten. Two of them are men, and one of them is me.”
‘You Have Been Deceived’ is a Netflix series that unfolds the adventurous life of ‘rebellious Asuni’ and ‘stubborn Musoe Kwan-sik’, who were born in Jeju, over the four seasons. Given the nature of the period drama, electronic devices could have been a glaring anachronism. Park Bo-gum’s act of covering up for the art team’s mistake added warmth to the environment.
Park Bo-gum is known as a representative manufacturer of heartwarming stories in the entertainment industry, and many heartwarming stories emerged among the actors who filmed ‘You Have Been Deceived’ with him.
