[OSEN=Yoo Soo-yeon] Actor Kim Jae-won, who made a mark with ‘The Tale of Mrs. Oks’, and ‘Severe Trauma Center’, is set to join ‘Yumi’s Cells 3’.
According to an OSEN investigation on the 19th, actor Kim Jae-won has been proposed and is set to join as the male lead ‘Shin Soon-rok’ in season 3 of TVING’s ‘Yumi’s Cells’.
The TVING original series ‘Yumi’s Cells Season 3’ (directed by Lee Sang-yeop, written by Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran, provided by TVING, produced by Studio Dragon, Merrycow, and Studio N) is a cell-stimulating romance that depicts the story of Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun) returning as a star writer, along with the cells that know nothing but Yumi, growing once again and loving as always.
Recently, with ‘Yumi’s Cells’ confirmed for the production of its third season after three years, Kim Go-eun, who was part of the earlier seasons, has also confirmed her appearance.
Season 3 particularly teases an unpredictable romance in front of Yumi, who has achieved her dream of being a writer, garnering attention towards the actor who will play ‘Shin Soon-rok’, the last romantic partner of ‘Yumi’ in the original work.
Kim Jae-won debuted as a model in 2018 and transitioned to acting in 2021, appearing in various works such as ‘Our Blues’, ‘The World You Fell into’, ‘King the Land’, ‘Hierarchy’, and ‘The Tale of Mrs. Oks’.
Recently, he caught the eyes of viewers with roles like Seong Do-gyeom in ‘The Tale of Mrs. Oks’ and Seo Dong-joo in ‘Severe Trauma Center’, and is currently filming Netflix’s ‘Lady Duaa’ along with other projects, continuing his busy career, drawing attention.
