Their representatives stated, “The two have been focusing on altering their relationship over the past few months to emphasize co-parenting,” and added, “They will continue to be spotted together as a family, and their top priority is raising their daughter in love, stability, and mutual respect.”
Prior to the announcement, Orlando Bloom shared his candid feelings of loneliness and sorrow on his social media on the 2nd. He uploaded an image with a quote from Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist Carl Jung, stating, “Loneliness comes not from having no people around you, but from being unable to express the things that seem important to you.”
He also added, “Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and a happy life would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by a certain amount of darkness.”
A source close to the couple told US Weekly that they decided to part ways last month. The source mentioned, “The situation is currently calm without any conflicts. Although Katy is upset, she feels relieved that she doesn’t have to go through another divorce. Divorce was one of the most difficult times in her life.”
